In this lecture, artist Skade Henriksen will give a presentation of her practice and how you as an artist can make sustainable choices in production and exhibition.

Bio:
Visual artist Skade Henriksen (b. 1988, Finnmark, Norway) works with drawing, photography, sculpture and installation. Skade combines the poetic with a semi-scientific approach to artistic research. With a background as a research technician, she uses scientific instruments and records as a working method and reference point in her works. Central to her work is the exploration of landscape, focusing on landscape change, mining and notions of time and value. Henriksen holds a master’s degree from the Art Academy in Bergen. She has recently exhibited at Bodø Biennale (2022) and at Preus Norway’s National Photo Museum (2023). Maintaining a high level of activity she has several upcoming exhibitions such as at Alta Museum (Norway) and LÁ Art Museum (Iceland). Henriksen lives and works in Bergen.
